Bondel Church to Celebrate Annual Feast on 10th August

Mangaluru: St Lawrence Church of Bondel, Mangaluru to celebrate its Annual Feast on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
The Nine day Novena prior to the annual feast will begin on Thursday, August 1st. From 1st Aug to 9th August, adoration at 5.30 to 6.00 p.m. After that evening mass will be offered for all the devotees.
Unfurling of St Lawrence flag will take place on 1st August at the church premises at 5 p.m. Fr Denis DSa, PRO, Diocese of Udupi & Parish Priest Thottam will hoist the flag. He will be celebrating the Mass marking this occasion.
Coadjutor Bishop of the Diocese of Jhansi, Rev. Dr Wilfred Gregory Moras will preside the Festal Mass on August 10 at 10.30 a.m. Rev. Dr Duming Dias, Bishop of Karwar Diocese will preside over the celebration to be held at 6.00 p.m.
Devotees will be given blessed bread on all devotional days from August 1st to 10th. Faithful visitors from all across the city throng to the shrine, where they offer up prayers for a deep gift of faith.
All church programme will be conducted under the guidance of Parish Priest Fr Andrew Leo DSouza and Prakash Pinto, Convener, St Lawrence Shrine Committee, during the novenas.
All devotees are cordially invited to partake in the annual feast which will be held on Saturday, 10th August at 10.30 a.m. & concluding mass in the evening at 6.00 p.m.
The devotees’ goodwill offerings and Mass offerings will be gratefully accepted. Blessed articles will be available in the religious stalls.
